Torque Borg loves the communities that support indie games creation. In the spirit of the hacks that came before, The TORQUE BORG Third-Party License allows for anyone to make and publish — commercially or for free — Torque Borg content including classes, enemies, adventures, or a whole new book, as long as you adhere to the following
RULES:
CONTENT
1. If you adhere to these terms of this license you are allowed to publish free or commercial material based upon and/or declaring compatibility with TORQUE BORG without express permission from Threshold Press.
2. Art and text may not be used, remixed, or translated unless you have our explicit permission. You are free to use the map of the WASTE, and are free to reference the enemies, factions, and entities of the world.
3. You are free to reuse, restate, and reference the games mechanics and rules of TORQUE BORG as you wish.
4. The WASTE is brutal, but avoid depictions of sexual violence, genocide, racism, homophobia, transphobia, slavery or repulsive real human history in your content.
5. NFTs are prohibited under these terms. AI use is highly discouraged and should not be used in the creation of TORQUE BORG adjacent products.
Branding
6. Your product cannot use the TORQUE BORG or Threshold logo without our explicit written permission.
7. You are allowed and encouraged, but not required, to use the TORQUE BORG compatibility logo.
8. You are not allowed to give the impression that your product, offerings, or related goods are an official TORQUE BORG product or that we endorse or sponsor you in any way unless we have made a special arrangement with you.
LEGAL
9. Threshold Press takes no responsibility for any legal claims against your product.
10. Any legal disputes, controversies, or claims related to this license shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America and be settled by a US court.
11.You must legibly include the following in your product and on the website or storefront where you promote the product:
[Product name] is an independent production by [Author or Publisher] and is not affiliated with Threshold Press. It is published under the TORQUE BORG Third Party License.
12. This copyright text must be legibly included somewhere in the product and on the storefront:
